Trail Kids Run Club

We are offering a 5 week trail running program for kids! Trail Kids is open to children ages 4-12.

The sessions will be held on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm starting May 7th at Rothesay Netherwood School (RNS) in Rothesay, New Brunswick. The program dates are as follows:

• May 7, 2023
• May 14, 2023
• May 21, 2023
• May 28, 2023
• June 4, 2023

Each evening will begin with fun warm-up drills and activities on the “Fairweather Field” (which is actually a soccer field – see map below in the Additional Downloads section), followed by a group run on the trails. The age groups will be determined based on registrations – however, children ages 4-6 will require parent involvement during the run. All registrants will receive a t-shirt and Salomon buff the first evening.

This program is only $25, thanks to the contributions from River & Trail Outdoor Company, Rothesay Netherwood School Camps, Fundy Soccer, and the Saint John Red's Track & Field Club.

For 2023, Trail Kids is now partnered with the Saint John Red's Track & Field Club and participants will automatically be recreational members of the club, Athletics New Brunswick, and Athletics Canada for insurance purposes.

*PLEASE NOTE: We will meet at the “Fairweather Field” . Parking is ONLY permitted in the Memorial Arena parking lot and NOT on the road. Please refer to the map below in the Additional Downloads section.
