2023 Judo Sask Kata Championships

Eligibility: All athletes must be registered and in good standing with Judo Saskatchewan

This is a Pre-Registration Event – Deadline for registrations is Friday, April 7, 2023
No registrations will be accepted on tournament day.
NO REFUNDS unless event is cancelled.

Check In Time:
Competitive Katas: Sunday April 16, 9:45 A.M.
Kodomo no Kata: Sunday, April 16, 12:Noon.

Competition Start Time:

10:30 A.M. for Competitive Kata,

1:00 P.M. for Kodomo no Kata

Categories and order of competition:
1. Nage No Kata 3 sets
2. Nage No Kata 5 sets
3. Katame No Kata
4. Ju No Kata
5. Kodokan Goshin Jutsu
6. Kime No Kata
7. Kodomo no Kata, sets 1-7

Registration fees: Only one entry per kata category, per person.
Each Competitive Kata: $50per team
Kodomo No Kata: $40 per team (maximum age U16)

Tournament Guidelines:
• The tournament committee in its sole discretion reserves the right to make any changes necessary in the best interest of the athletes.
• All competitors must have a white judogi. Females must wear a plain white short-sleeved rounded-neck shirt under their judogi.
• Hair must be worn up above the shoulders (male & female), hair bands can not contain any metal.
• All piercings and jewelry must be removed.
