2023 Golden Horseshoe Prep Meet

ParticipACTION Fund: Thanks to the generous contribution by the Government of Canada’s Community Sport for All Initiative, in collaboration with the 2023 ParticipACTION Community Challenge and Athletics Ontario, we are pleased to be offering a limited number of Entry Fee Vouchers to eligible individuals from equity-deserving populations (Black, Indigenous, racialized, 2SLGBTQQIA+, persons with a disability, low-income and newcomers to Canada). This meet will provide an early season prep meet or season opener in a variety of track and field events. Events will be OPEN for the most part with heats based on seed times. All jumpers and throwers will receive six attempts.

Events Offered:
TRACK- 100 m, 200 m, 300/400 m, 800 m, 2000/3000 m
Sprint Hurdles, Intermediate Hurdles, Steeplechase
FIELD- Javelin, Shot put, Discus, Long jump, High Jump, Pole vault

8:45 am- Registration & bib number pick-up, facility open for initial warm-ups
Tentative schedule included in Technical package. Final schedule to be determined based on entry numbers.

All AO/ provincial/ local public health and safety guidelines are in place. Please carefully read technical package for specific safety policies and procedures.
